This piece was inspired by hurricane katrina, and symbolizes a new beginning for the city's hit

the underside signifies the old city wiped away by water and wind, and the top side with the tree symbolizes growth of a new city saying the sun will shine on a new hope, a new city, and new growth

anyways, I am not sure if I am finished with it and would like some input as to the composition, colors and text

Lovely. I worked with Katrina Relief and seeing pieces dedicated to it means a lot.

As for suggestions...if you want to emphasize the new city maybe add a bit of some color to make it bolder and stand out instead of blending with the old...unless the blend is the idea you so desired in which case great work!

yeah they have one left for $2000 - but all the profit goes to red cross
